FORESTS

From large to small,  zen simple to realistic complexity,  forests are a way to bring the beauty of nature and natural essences into any space.  I always see these as windows, and that I'm looking outside.

IMPRESSION

If I had to paint the same way day in and day out for a lifetime, the impressionist style would be my bag.  So elegant and powerful and beautiful.  When I need to take a break from playing and exploring, I always return to to my impressionist roots.

Technically,  I would be a post-impressionist, but that's too many syllables, and I introduce so many different tricks into my work that the impressionist fathers would probably malign me for bastardizing their baby anyway. But I have to call it something, so with regard to myself, anything with dashes and dots I file under 'impressionist'.
